The Adrian Township Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Paid-on-Call Firefighter-EMT’s. To be eligible, applicants must have a High School Diploma, be 18 years old, live within five miles of the township limits, have no criminal record, and have a good driving record. Michigan Fire Fighter I & II and Basic EMT are preferred, however, all individuals meeting the minimum qualifications as described above will receive required training. Paid-on-Call Firefighters provide coverage during the week and 1 weekend a month. This part time position responds to alarms or requests for service, acts in emergencies such as storms, medical emergencies, extinguishing fires and performs service work as directed.
